Caravan
In 2021, we made the decision to purchase an old Jayco Starcraft pop top caravan as our inaugural van for camping excursions. Opting for a compact pop top rather than a full height van was a deliberate choice, as it enables us to conveniently store the caravan in our garage and offers reduced air resistance during towing. Additionally, considering our lack of experience in towing caravans, it was crucial for us to select a smaller option that wouldn't demand extensive expertise. As our experience grows and circumstances permit, we plan to upgrade to a larger caravan to enhance our overall travel comfort.
Mitsubishi Outlander for towing
With a towing capacity of 2000kg and a tow ball weight limit of 200kg, the 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander (Diesel) is a capable compact SUV for towing purposes.
